Sixteen members of AKB48 (the group is made up of "teams" who work together, so not all 48 are on stage simultaneously) attended the show and performed a special medley of their hits including: "Flying Get /Kaze Wa Fuiteiru /Everyday, Kachusya" and "GIVE.
AKB48's newest single, titled "Kaze wa Fuiteiru," sold more than 1,046,000 copies on October 26, its first day of release. The idol group's "Beginner" and "Heavy Rotation" single CDs were the top-selling singles last year.
